Oh jeez, oh goodness, run for your gosh darn lives. Toucannon – Someone pissed off Toucan Sam. It just doesn’t sit right with me, and I’m blaming the beak. Trumbeak – However, I’ve got some bones to pick with this weird middle stage. Pikipek – I ain’t got nothin’ against a woodpecker. Those who stuck with Popplio were granted beauty in this mermaid-like sea lion. Primarina – The clown turned beautiful singer is a great final evolution visually. Popplio – Get this clown out of here! 3/10īrionne – This family is the perfect example of “be careful who you call ugly in middle school.” It’s still going through puberty in this stage. I lost that bet and I’m still not over it. I was insulted by the idea that a wrestling cat would be Fire/Dark. When Incineroar was first leaked I was confident I would get $10. Incineroar – I had a bet when Gen 7 came out we would go back to having a Fire/Fighting type starter.

The bell on it is a plus that saves it from the cellar. Torracat – I just wanna say that I think black and red are an overdone combination.

It’s just a fire feline which is a tired idea at this point. Litten – The only good thing about Litten is its name, and even that is a joke. I love the idea of Pokemon using conventional weapons and a keen owl is the perfect operator of a bow and arrow. 4/10ĭecidueye – I’m a huge fan of the archer look Decidueye brings. It might be the brown plumage that is in no other part of this family. I think the hair is what’s throwing me off. 7/10ĭartrix – Dartrix just looks really off to me. Rowlet – This adorable owl has a bowtie and you should know by now that I love Pokemon wearing clothes. Furthermore, future evolutions or pre-evolutions are included in the Generation they debut in as well.

Alolan forms are in this regional Pokedex, so Pokemon that have designs from Generation 1 will be rated here due to them having an alternate form. This is done in the National Regional Pokedex order. Let’s put down these rules, for old time’s sake. The ratings are based solely on their appearance, some bias from user experience, and their origins.

Alola is home to some of the most interesting designs in the series, especially when it comes to its legendaries. Thankfully, Alola restored faith in the franchise. In every way, shape, and form, Pokemon seemed to lose its way in Kalos. While some were passable there was too much drivel to stand up to any other generations.
